International voluntary service in the Swiss alps         (6 months)

In cooperation with the Urgestein Foundation from Guggisberg / Gantrisch, the association Naturkultur carries out international volunteer work for young adults from Europe and the Middle East.

The stakes include:

  • Dry stone wall construction work on the Weissenstein (Solothurn Jura)

  • Nature and mining work in the Alpine region in  Gantrisch

  • Nature conservation missions in the Gantrisch Nature Park

  • Cultural work in the Gantrisch region

  • Cooperation in the regional winter sports work.

Do you want to have a unique and authentic experience in the Swiss mountains,  with people from there? Then our missions are perfectly made for you!

Two young adults have the opportunity to work with our partners in Gantrisch and Solothurn for half a year from September 2020.

Travel, board and lodging are covered by the European Volunteer Service EVS. The volunteer missions are coordinated in consultation with Service Civil International SCI .

Region and benefits of this program

  • You will have the opportunity to take a German course

  • You will be given the opportunity to work and experience our international project weeks
